Transmission Repairs/ rebuilds
Your transmission takes the hit every time you roll. If it slips, grinds, bangs, or hunts for gears, the whole truck feels it. Don’t wait. Small problems turn into tow bills fast.
Here’s how we handle it. We pull codes, and watch live data. We check clutch wear counts, free play, cooler flow, and line pressure. We verify air or hydraulic supply, inspect wiring and connectors, and make sure the TCM has the right software.
If it’s repairable, we replace worn clutches, bearings, seals, synchro’s, solenoids, and range parts. Clearances and preload are set to spec. We reseal, fill with the correct fluid, and run adaptations so shifts are clean. If the case is damaged or the gearset is cooked, we quote a quality reman or new unit. We can swap the whole assembly, program it, and road test before you pick up.
We work on Volvo I-Shift, Eaton Fuller manuals and UltraShift or Endurant, and Allison 3000 or 4000.
Want it to last longer? Do fluid and filter services on time. Keep the cooler clean, fix air leaks, adjust the clutch, and maintain good batteries and grounds. Catch a leak early and save the box. Bring the symptoms and how the failure started. We’ll diagnose it right, explain your options, and back the job with a solid warranty.
Transmission Repairs

Road Test and Code Scan
We drive it under load, pull active and stored codes, and watch live data. Shift timing, flare, slip, and noises tell us where to dig. This gives a clean baseline before we touch a bolt.

Clutch and Driveline Inspection
Faulty sensor readings can throw off the whole engine. We test and recalibrate sensors like MAP, MAF, NOx, and exhaust sensors to make sure they’re accurate.

Pressure, Leaks, and Cooler Flow
We verify main line pressure, air or hydraulic supply, and cooler flow and temps. We inspect for leaks, burnt fluid, and metal on the magnets. Bad pressure or a plugged cooler will cook a good box.

Internal Repairs and Rebuilds
If repairable, we tear down, clean, and measure. Clutches, bearings, seals, synchros, forks, and range parts get replaced. Clearances and preload are set to spec. Then we reseal and bench test before the road test.

Reman or Full Replacement
If the case is cracked or gearsets are wiped, we quote a quality reman or new unit. We flush lines, replace the pilot bearing, check the rear main seal, and swap the assembly. You leave with a box that shifts clean.

Programming and Adaptations
We update the TCM, reset counters, and run clutch kiss-point and shift relearns. Volvo I-Shift, Eaton Fuller manuals and UltraShift or Endurant, and Allison 3000 or 4000. Proper programming keeps shifts smooth and extends life.
What You Should Know
What’s Included in Transmission Service
Road test under load. Scan TCM and ECM. Monitor shift timing, pressures, temps, and clutch wear counts.
Replace worn clutches, bearings, seals, synchros, solenoids, and range parts. Set clearances to spec.
Full tear-down and rebuild when viable. Quality reman or new unit when damage is severe or uptime matters.
Update TCM, reset counters, run relearns, and verify shift quality. Volvo I-Shift, Eaton, Allison, and more.
When You Should Bring It In
Slip, flare, bang, hunting, delay into gear, or no gear. Get it checked before it fails.
Gearbox or clutch messages mean scan it now. Ignoring them can cook the unit.
Low fluid, dark smell, or debris on magnets points to internal wear.
High temps, towing heavy, clutch jobs, driveline work, or software changes need verification.
Why It Matters
Catching pressure and heat issues early saves hard parts and the case.
Correct repairs and relearns bring clean shifts and better fuel economy.
Proper setup reduces wear on flywheel, input splines, U-joints, and carriers.
Small fixes beat tow bills and full replacements. Clear options and pricing.
